In a world that often grinds us to the bone, MERE MORTALS asks us to slow down, step back, and appreciate the fruits of our labor, reminding us that although our time on this earth is fleeting, it can also be a rich and exploratory experience that enables us to leave an immortal and vital legacy behind.

Exhale: Live in Concert
Join us for a night of inspiration and uplifting music as multi-genre violinist Caitlin Edwards performs her album Exhale live in concert with a string orchestra and band! The music will be accompanied with projection art by artist Maddie Ma.
If tickets are unavailable, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the event as tickets may become available.
Exhale: Live in Concert is my debut solo violin album with string orchestra, piano, percussion, guitar, and electric bass accompaniment. Exhale is an album of string music that fuses the sound of classical music with the melodies and harmonies of gospel, neo-soul, and R&B.
I hope to create a relaxed and open environment where the audience can freely take in and react to the music however they see fit. I’m so excited to be able to do this outreach concert with the students in the Chicago Arts and Music Project (especially because I’m a former teacher with this program)! This concert aims to inspire CAMP students, provide guidance and encouragement, and widen their viewpoints of what is possible as a string player or musician. I want to show them that their music can be whatever they dream of or are passionate about.
